The "I can read my CVC words!" series is a collection of PowerPoint slide shows that help students develop skills in decoding words. Students will view a slide and 3 letters will appear at an order that will reveal a CVC word. Students then work to blend these letter sounds into a word. Each slide will have an illustrations that lets the students know if they formed the correct CVC word. This slide show also enhances the students vocabulary as they may not know all of the CVC words. Slides are grouped in word families, making it easy to teach word families. The three versions include a self paced version, you control the speed and work with students, an auto paces version that moves to speed the students responses, and an auto paces version with the words in a mixed order.
